| Promotion, adjustment orders in Govt. Press kept in abeyance | | | Early Times Reporter

In Continuance to the State Government’s crusade against corruption, the government has kept in abeyance the orders of promotions/adjustments issued by Ex-General Manager, Government Press.
It was alleged that the officer had ordered the promotions a day ahead of his date of superannuation without convening the DPC meetings.
While taking a serious note of the action, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports. Babu Singh said that such an action taken by the officer smacks of mala fide and issued orders for constituting a committee to look into the matter. He said punitive action would be taken against the erring official, if proved, guilty. |
