Suman Lata of Higher Secondary School Billawar bagged double gold in the under-19 age category field events in the ongoing inter-school athletics meet of district Kathua at Police Line grounds, here today.
Tall and stout Suman won her first gold in Long Jump, followed by the second gold medal in High Jump.
The 400 meters gold in the same age group went to Rekha Devi of Higher Secondary School Hatli. Pooja Sharma of High School Sallan finished second while Rekha Devi of High School Ghagwal remained third.
The ongoing inter-school athletics meet is being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
