| 1 die, 11 injured in road mishaps | | Woman commits suicide | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Nov 29 One person died and eleven others were injured, two of them critically, in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a Maruti Car (JK05-512) hit and injured Ghulam Hassan Dar son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar of Parray pora Sopore. The injured was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries, sources added. In another accident a Sumo (JK01D-2612) and a Van collided with each other at Kupwara resulting in injuries to four persons two of them critically. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. An unidentified Motorcycle hit and injured one Irfan Ahmad Hajam, son of Wali Mohammad, resident of Gulgam at Kupwara. The injured was hospitalized. Meanwhile, in yet another accident a TATA Sumo (JK01K/919) on way to Teetwal from Karnah turned turtle near Baleper Sahib Cambkote injuring six persons. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a woman ended her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence at Binlipora Bandipore, here today. Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Wife of a villager Nisar Ahmad, resident of Binlipora Bandipore commit suicide by consumed some poisonous substance at her residence by consuming some poisonous substance. The family members of the deceased found her unconscious and immediately rushed her to hospital where doctors pronounced her as brought dead. The reason behind this extreme step was not ascertained immediately. Police has taken up investigations in this regard to ascertain the reason behind the suicide. |
