| Evening OPD at CD Hospital | | | Early Times Reporter

The OPD in Chest Diseases Hospital, Bakshi Nagar now remains open during the evening. This was disclosed by Principal Jammu Medical College Dr. Rajinder Singh, who is also holding the additional responsibility of HOD, Chest Diseases Hospital.
Dr. Singh informed that due to his elevation as Principal JMC and heavy rush of chest disease patients in the CD Hospital, he has devised a routine to cater to the patients of both the hospitals. For that matter he conducts round of all the wards of CD Hospital in the morning and enquires about the health status of the admitted patients, then he attends the routine functioning of Jammu Medical College. There after during the evening he sits in the OPD Ward CD Hospital from 5: 30 PM onwards and checks 40- 50 patients daily apart from the routine hospital work.
The evening OPD is a self devised procedure being adopted by the CD Hospital authorities led by Dr. Rajinder Singh to benefit the ailing humanity. This is also in tune and consonance with the policies of Ghulam Nabi Azad led government for providing improved health care facilities to the people free of cost at their doorstep. |
