| PHE employees holds protest, highlight demands | | | Early Times Reporter

A rally of PHE employees association was held under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma, Provincial President of the association, here today. The procession start from PHE Reasi store to main Bazaar and finally culminated at District Development Commissioner office and hand over to him.
While addressing the rally, Sharma said that the discrimination is due to the negligence of PHE authorities and state government and appealed to the government to stop discrimination with the PHE Employees of Jammu Province and consider our genuine demands immediately, otherwise Association will constrained to take drastic sactino for which govt. will be responsible.
The demands of the association are wages be paid to all the workers (Community Participated) @ Rs. 70/- per day as per Kashmir Valley, Benefit to al Assistant Lineman/Assistant Motor Man off cadre covered under SRO 43, Release of pending pay of all workers and ITI employees and all daily wagers who have completed seven years service be regularized under SRO 64.
Other who spoke in protest rally were Som Nath, Vijay Luthra, Abdul Hamid, Banarsi Dass and Ravi Kumar, Brij Mohan and Naresh Kumar also addressed the employees. |
