| Azad for clearing rush of Haj Pilgrims | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 30 Coming to the aid of stranded Haj pilgrims in Jammu and Srinagar capital cities Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday said that he has personally requested Defence Minister AK Antony to launch special flights of Indian Air force to clear the rush of stranded Haj pilgrims in Jammu and Srinagar immediatley. Large number of Haj pilgrims are stranded in Jammu and Srinagar due to bad weather conditions as air traffic remained disrupted for fifth consecutive day. Talking to media men here in Jammu Chief Minister said today morning he contacted Defence Minister AK Antony and also sent a written request to Defence Minister asking him to arrange special flights to clear the rush of stranded passengers. He said elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure that no Haj pilgrim suffer any discomfiture. |
