| Pakistan, NATO to sign agreement | | |
Islamabad, Aug 22 A NATO delegation is currently on a visit to Pakistan to firm up an Afghanistan-Specific agreement on the same lines as it has with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) for providing logistical support in Afghanistan. The members of the delegation would be meeting senior Defence officials to finalise the agreement. Yesterday, the delegation met Secretary Defence Tariq Waseem Ghazi.
Officials believe that the agreement would be similar to the ISAF signed by the country in 2002, as the NATO too has the same mandate.
