| BSF organizes blood donation camp | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 30 Border Security Force (BSF) today organized a blood donation camp at its headquarter, Paloura. About more than 100 donors of various ranks of BSF donated blood voluntary in the camp. The donated blood will be deposited in the blood bank of government medical college and will be used in the need of hour. In addition, BSF organize ten pulse polio camps during the year in which, 2284 BSF and civilian children were immunized. As per press release, BSF, under the civic action plan 17 medical camps were organized in 2005, where about 7000 patients were provide free medicine. In 2006, force organizes to 10 camps and treated 4754 persons. During current year a free medical camp was organizes at BOP Chaniliyal in which 3500 patients were provide free medicine. BSF in addition to this is organizing free medical camps at Samba, Rajouri and Sunderbani from December 18. |
