| Unemployed diploma engineers highlight demands | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of unemployed electronics and communication diploma engineers association was held under the Presidentship of Er. Noomesh Sangotra today.
He critised the PDD and service selection Board regarding the recruitment process of 343 post of Junior Engineer, electrical grade-II in which the PDD department and SSB has notified the prescribed qualification as B.E. electronics, Diploma in electric Engg.
He further said the PDP deptt. has ignored the diploma in electronic and communication branch which is equivalent to electric diploma engineering and informed that government has introduced electronic & communication branch at par with degree and diploma in electric.
He has appealed the chief minister and concern department to direct the SSB to entertain the applications forms of electronic and communication 3 year diploma engineers without delay.
Among others who participated in the meeting were Kamni Bhagat, Javaid Iqbal, Kapil Sharma, Anjuru, Vishal Khanna, Ashish Tickoo and Naresh Kumar. |
