A joint team of army and police today busted a hideout and recovered some arms and ammunition from the spot at Gursai Mohalla Mohra Bachai area of Surankote in border Poonch district.
According to reports, on a specific information about the presence of militants in the area, a joint team of army and the police launched a search operation in the area during which the joint team busted a hideout and recovered one AK Bayonet without cover, 24 UBGL grenades, one RPG round, eight pressure switches, two detonators, four cylinders, two fuses, one kg explosive, two pencil cells and six plastic bottles from the spot. The search operation was on in the area as last reports came in. |
