| BSP seeks ban screening of Aaja Nach Lae | | | Early Times Reporter

Various Dalit organizations in the state have strongly condemned the words of a lyric written for the movie Aaja Nach Lae released throughout the country yesterday.
Expressing concern, president of state unit of BSP Yashpaul Bhagat, in a press statement has said, that anti Dalit lines of the song in the movie has hurt the people of Bahujan Samaj.He has urged upon the state governor and chief minister to ban the screening of film in the state as done by Chief Minister of UP, Mayawati. He said, one fails to understand have censor board has allowed this song.
All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, Members have also condemned the screening of movie and also condemn the censor board for not deleting the derogating wards, which hurts the sentiments of any community. They have have urged upon the state government to ban screening of the picture.
Bahujan Samaj Party workers in a meeting held under Yashpaul Bhagat have hailed the decision of U.P Chief Minister in banning the movie in the state. Members have appealed the state government follow the same steps as adopted by UP government. |
