| CEC inspect site for mini industrial complex | | | Early Times Reporter

The Chief Executive Councilor inspected proposed site for the Mini Industrial complex at Tsogstsot in Diskit . Giving a detail the Executive councilor, Industries Dorjey Mutup Said that 200 Kanals of land is being car marked for Mini Industrial Complex. An amount of Rs. 1.50 crore is being spent on the construction of infrastructure in this complex.
He said that this complex would promote Industries like Seabuckthorn, Apricot, Apple, Fisheries and Steel fabrication etc and would not only improve the produces of Nubra but would also provides job avenues to the unemployed to the youths.
CEC also visited Tryath, Lakjung, Kyager. The CEC assured the public at Lakjung that protection bunds would be constructed on the Saichan river to protect their irrigated land and also assured that a Hyarily project will also be sanctioned for Lakjung under which Rs. 25 Lacs would be spent on the Rural development schemes in internal road service and renovation of old Chorthens etc under tourism incentive. |
