RBI Jammu names 14-member contingent for Mumbai meet

Jammu | Dec 1: A 14-member contingent of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Jammu branch shall proceed for Mumbai tomorrow to take part in the 25th(Silver Jubilee) Inter-RBI Sports Meet starting from December five.
The contingent is consisted of three teams of badminton, table tennis and carom as also two officials.
While the pair of Rahul Sharma and Gurvinder Singh is confident to repeat their last year’s feat of doubles title win, Dheeraj Arora, who recently won the state championship is sure to again play the final. The badminton team had finished runners-up last year while Dheeraj had lost in the table tennis singles final, secretary of the RBI Sports and Cultural Club, Ravinder Koul told Early Times.
The teams: Badminton: Rahul Sharma, Gurvinder Singh, M K Sharma, Vijay Gupta. Table Tennis: Dheeraj Arora, Bir Singh, Onkar Nath, K K Shan. Carom: Lalit Sinha, Riaz Ali, Ashok Kumar, Balkar Singh. Managers: R N Koul and Ashok Kumar.
