| CEC inaugurates common facility centre at Village Summor | | | Early Times Reporter Leh | Dec 1 The common facility centre constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 lacs for model village Summor under prime minister re-construction programme, was inaugurated by the chief executive councilor at village Summor today. Present on the occasion were executive councilor, health Dorje Mutup, executive councilor, tourism Tsewing Rigzin, executive councilor, Minority affairs and forest Mohd. Khan and team of district officers including addition deputy commissioner, Leh Sonam Gyalson, Project director DRDA Ali Raza and the sub divisional officers headed by SDM, Tsewing Dolma. Speaking on the occasion Dorje said that the hill council is committed to develop the socio economic condition of every villages of the district. He said that spectacular development is being going on in Nubra in every spare of life. He said that 10 Bridges over Shayok and Saichan river would be constructed including Satsay Dakbu Bridge, Rongo Bridge, Gombo Bridge and Jeepable bridges at Charasa, Tsati, Hunderi Etc. he said that the hill council has already approached the state central govt. for allotment of funds as well as loan from NABARD and Asian development Bank. He said that hill council has projected a budget proposal for 170 crores for undertaking major roads and bridges under NABARD and Asian development Bank. Referring to demands of the people at Summor the Dorje said that their demands would be given due consideration. He said that the govt. has already given permission to run higher secondary school and lecturer are being deputed to the school shortly. Project director DRDA Raza said that Rs. 92 lacs has spent so for in construction schemes under model village Summor out of the allotted Rs. 1.20 crores, Executie Councilor, Tourism Rigzin said that some schemes in Summor would be taken under tourism development authority. To a demand he said that the Gas Cylinder would be ensure reach to respective villages. |
