Srinagar | Dec 1
The condition of ailing Muhammad Abdullah Dev, father-in-law of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, deteriorated on Saturday, forcing the later to cut short his visit to Patna, capital of Bihar.
Sources within the Dev family revealed that Dev was ailing from last couple of months but his condition deteriorated on Saturday morning.
Shamima Dev, wife of chief minister, was already in Valley to look after her ailing father but the deteriorated condition also forced Azad – who was on a visit to Patna along with the Governor– to return.
Sources said that Azad was schedule to stay in New Delhi on Sunday, where he was likely to meet some senior party leaders so as to discuss the cabinet expansion.
