| Shopkeeper killed in accident | | | Early Times Reporter

A shopkeeper was today killed on the spot in an accident at Bari Brahamana area, when he on way to a temple, was knocked down by a speedy bus.
He has been identified as Karam Chand Mahajan son of Jeeven Lal Mahajan resident of Ward No 5, Bari Brahamana. According to reports today morning at about 6 am he was on way to mandir when a bus coming from Jammu knocked him down killing him on the spot. The bus driver, however, managed to escape from the spot.
The locals who were present at the site of the accident informed the police who rushed to the spot took him to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. Sources said the police alerted all the nakas on the national highway at Jammu Pathankot road to nab the driver. Samba police has seized the said bus at Mansar Morh naka. Police has also registered a case in this regard. |
