| Bakaya interacts with KPs | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 2 Former chief secretary of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference leader Vijay Bakaya held an interactive meeting with number of delegates representing Kashmiri Pandits, here today. In a series of meetings, held here today, Bakaya was apprised about the problems being faced by the Kashmiri Pandit community and detail deliberations were held on the issue of revision of electoral rolls. Interacting with the delegates, Bakaya said that the party has been fighting a hard battle for ensuring return of Kashmiri Pandits back to their homes. He said that the party has raised the issue at several forums and the efforts would continue in future. Urging the delegates to get united so as to fight for their genuine demands, Bakaya suggested early revision of electoral rolls to end disparity. He asked the delegates to strengthen the hands of party president Omar Abdullah so that National Conference returns victorious in the next assembly elections for the overall development of the state. The meeting among others was attended by Ashok Hangloo, SN Dhar, Moti Lal Bhat, Amit Koul, Ashwani Kumar, Vir Ji Billoo, Awtar Krishan Koul. |
