| Body of a Daroul-Aloom student recovered in Sopore | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Dec 3 Police today recovered a slaughtered body of a young Daroul-Aloom student in Sopore. As per reports, a neck-slit body of Shahnaz Ahmad Paul son of Ghulam Hassan of Dooru Sopore was found in the orchards of Dangerpora Sopore today, who was killed by some unidentified gunmen. Paul was a student of Daroul-Aloom Tangmarg and had come his home on holiday. Police said that last day at 2 pm during the day; Paul left his home for studies and went disappeared. "He was killed by militants, and they have kept a warning message written on a piece of paper that was kept on his body," said Assistant Superintendent of Police Sopore, Imtiyaz Hissain. Police has registered a case of murder against militants under section 302, said Hussain. Today's death of youth in Sopore is third of its kind from last week. Few days back a young boy was also killed and was later labeled as an informer of police. Police sources said that militants are in a state of "frustration" after police claimed some major lives of their highest cadres in past some major encounters. "They want to create a situation of fear among people, as people have now stopped to give them asylum," said a police officer on conditions of anonymity. |
