A joint team of police and Special Operation Group (SOG) today arrested a militant of HM outfit when he was trying to enter in the city and also recovered some ammunition from his possession. According to reports today team received specific information that a militant was coming from the Doda district towards Jammu.
A joint team of SOG and Nagrota police laid a naka in the area. Sources said during the checking police stopped a bus and during checking arrested one HM militant namely Mohd Hinayat code Danish resident of Banihal. During his checking team recovered one Chinese pistol, two magazines and eleven rounds from his possession. Sources said after the arrest team took him to safe house for further interrogation where he told some more persons names and also told that he was coming in the city for some attack and some more militants were also hidden in the Jammu. Sources said after his interrogation some more arrests are likely. |
