| Body recovered, Man drowns in canal | | | Early Times Reporter

While Police today recovered a slaughtered body of a Dar-ul-Aloom Student from Dangerpora Sopore area of North Kashmir, a boy was drowned in a canal of Hydel Power Project at Haknara Gund in Ganderbal last night
Official spokesman told News Agency of Kashmir that some people spotted a body in the outskirts of Dangerpora village and immediately informed the police who took the possession of the body and send it for postmortem.
He said the deceased was later identified as Shahzad Ahmed Pala 22, son of Ghulam Hassan of Dooru Sopore who was a student of a local Dar-ul-Aloom.
Police has registered a case in this regard and has launched manhunt to nab the murderers.
Meanwhile, informed sources told NAK that a person drowned in water canal of Hydel Power Project at Haknara Gund, under suspicious conditions.
He was later identified as Abdul Qayoom Khan (29) son of Abdul Hameed of Haknar Gund Ganderbal.
Police has taken cognizance and has initiated Inquest Proceedings under section 174 CrPC. |
