Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 2 The Sainik Colony branch of the Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School today lifted the overall trophy in the two-day Jammu district kickboxing championship which held at the boxing rings of Police Stadium, here. To claim the championship trophy, Tiny Tots bagged six gold, eight silver and 17 bronze medals. Don Bosco Club remained runners-up with five gold, three silver and five bronze medals. Inspector General of Police (Armed), Sheikh Owais was chief guest in the final, who distributed prizes among the winners of different age and weight groups. In his address to the participants, IGP emphasized that martial art is need of the hour, especial for the womenfolk. He complimented the Jammu District Kickboxing Association for successfully conducting the event. Among others present were RAfiq ul Hassan, SSP, Sandeep Wazir, SP, Dr N S Bhatial, Deepak Handa, Anuj Verma, Sanjay Mehra, Kuldeep Handa, Vivek Basssan and Ajay Paul. |
