Various literary, social, political orgs. Condole demise of Abdullah Dev

The demise of Mohammad Abdullah Dev a well knows poet, writer and educationalist has been widely condoled by various literary, social and political organizations of the state.
Late Dev was the father-in-law of Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad and father of Shamima Azad.
Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd) S.K. Sinha condole the demise of Mohammad Abdullah Dev, Father-in-Law of the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
In a personal condolence message to Shamima Dev Azad and the Chief Minister, Gen. Sinha and the First Lady Premini Sinha expressed sympathies with the bereaved family, praying the almighty to give them and their family members courage to bear this irreparable loss.
All Council Minster have expressed deep shock over the death of Mohammad Abdullah Dev, who passed away Srinagar early this morning.
In their message Minister for education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mangat Ram Sharma, Minister for R&B, Gulchain singh Charak, Minister for CAPD, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Finance Tariq Hameed Kara, Minister for Agriculture Abdul Aziz Zargar, Minister for Transport, Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, Minister for Tourism Dillawar Mir, Minister for Rural Development, Jugal Kishore, Minister for Power, Rigzin Jora, Minister for Social Welfare, Haji Nissar Ali, Minister of State for Higher Education, Ajaz Ahmed Khan, Minister of state for Power, Peer Mohammad Hussain, Minister of State for Sports, Babu Singh, Minister of State for Finance Prem Sagar Aziz, Minister of State for PHE and Industry Dr.Romesh Chander, Minister of State for Education, S. Manjeet Singh, Advisor to Chief Minister Janak Raj Gupta and Manzoor Ahmad Ganai in their message recalled the contribution of Dev as an officer in education department and the social work after his retirement.
The ministers prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience for the aggrieved to bear irreparable loss. PDF Chairman and transport minister, Hakeem Mohd. Yassen also express shock.
The Secretariat Employees Union President Nazir Ahmad Mir has also expressed grief and shock over the death of Late M. Abdullah Dev Nadeem.
National Conference (NC) Patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah and party president Omar Abdullah have condoled the sad demise of Muhammad Abdullah Dev, Father-in-Law of chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
In a joint statement the NC leaders expressed sympathies with Azad and his wife Shamima Azad and prayed to Almighty for peace to the departed soul.
Senior party leader of opposition Abdul Rahim Rather while paying tributes said that he knew Dev personally and termed the deceased as a great poet and educationalist. “The deceased was a great human being who was known for his efforts for the downtrodden section of the society”., he added.
The demise was also condoled by provincial president Ajay Sadhotra, MLC Davinder Singh Rana, MLA Sajad Ahmed Kichloo, Jalal-ud-Din Qazi Bakaya.
People Democratic Front (PDF) condoled the sad demise of Muhammad Abdullah Dev, father-in-Law of Chief Minster Ghulam Nabi Azad in a condolence meeting held at the party head quarter here today.
Senior Vice president Muhammad Abdullah Wani prayed for the peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family,. Other who were present in the meeting included Sartj Ahmed Wani, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Mumtaz Khan and GM Itto.
Expressing grief over the passing away of Mohd. Abdullah Dev, the senior congress leader Ghulam Nabi Mir Lesjan has describe late Dev as a great suji poet and educationist who played a great role in reforming the education system in the state. He prayed to Almighty to grant peace to departed soul and expressed sympathy with bereaved family.
State academy of art, culture and languages in a condolence meeting chaired by secretary academy Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi paid glowing tributes to Mohd. Abdullah Dev ‘Nadeem’ and describe him a prominent literary figure of the state and contribute a lot in development of Kashmiri language.
Speakers in the meeting expresses their heartfelt condolences to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, his wife, Shamima Dev Azad and other family members. They prayed for peace to departed soul.
MLC Ashok Sharma expressed profound shock and grief over the passing away of Mohd. Abdullah Dev, Father in law of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in Srinagar. Sharma described late Dev as a great Educationalist and Social Activists. Immediately after hearing about the demise of Dev, Sharma rushed to Srinagar to expressed his condolences personally to Azad and other members of the bereaved family. Sharma also attended the burial of Dev Sahib.
Bhaderwah, Congress in a condolece meeting, chaired by Naresh Gupta condole the sad demise of Mohd. Abdullah Dev father of Shamima Dev Azad, and father in Law of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
While addressing Gupta recalled the contribution of Dev Sahib in highlighting his service towards the poor and deprived section of the population. He reknowned social workers and a great reformer of the down trodden section of the society.
Others who paid tributes were Saleem Malik, Naveen Kotwal, Kul Bhushan Singh, Chaman Kotwal, Shiv Kumar, Iftkar Hussain, Ravinder Thakar, Shoket Mir, Ajay Kumar, Rajesh Sharma, Dharam Pal Dogra, Abdul Majid Ganai, Abdul Gani Khan, Rehmatulla Butt and Abdul Qamoom Khan.
Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary Society also condole the death of Kashmir Poet and Father in Law of Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad, Late Mohd. Abdullah Dev Nadeem, in a condolence meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Prof. Shohab Malik. Various Speakers included Dr. Meenakshi Kelam, Aseer Kishtwari, David Iqbal Baba and highlighted the qualities of Head and Heart of Abdullah Dev Nadeem.
A two minutes silence was also observed for the peace of departed soul. Among others who attended the meeting included Sajid Hussain, Prof. Ajeet Angral and Irfan Goni.
Divisional Commissioner Sudhashu Pandey alongwith all revenue and other divisional officers expressed their deepest condolence on the sad demise of legendry poet Mohammad Abdullah Dev, Father in law of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Expressing heart felt sympathies with the bereaved family, they prayed for granting peace and jannat to the departed soul.
Congress Senior Vice president Abdul GaniVakil and State General Secretary CPI (M) and MLA Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami have extended their heartfelt condolence to Chief Minister and other family members on the death of Mohammad Abdullah Dev.
Describing Mohammad Abdullah Dev as renowned educationalist and social worker, the leaders expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved family.
They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience for the aggrieved family to bear the irreparable loss.
