| Rs. 22 cr. Being spent on upgradation of Boorma-Gonboo road | | | Early Times Reporter Leh | Dec 3 Boorma-Gonboo road is being upgraded at cost of Rs.22 crores under NABARD. This was disclosed by chief executive councilor (CEC) LAHDC, Leh Chering Dorje here today. While speaking at a gathering at Aranu Gongma Dorje said that a bridge at Satsay Daksna would also be constructed under NABARD. He assured people that their problems would also be solved when the Satsay Daksna bridge is completed and the people of Pharka area could directly go to Diskit without making a round of Kubet bridge and Tebe bridge. Dorje also inspected the Kubet-Boorma road on which Rs. 30 lacs are being spent under district plan. A village Charasa Dorje said that a Jeepable bridge of the span of 160 mtrs would be constructed at Charasa over Saichen river. He also said that middle school Charasa would be upgraded as high school. Dorje along with other executive councilor which include Tsewing Rigzin and Mohd Khan visited villages Kuri, Morgi, Burma, Pinchimik and listened to the grievances of the people and also inspected the ongoing works. |
