| Homage paid to former Vigilance Commissioner | | | Early Times Reporter

A condolence meeting to pay homage to former Vigilance Commissioner J&K Late M.S Faruqui was held at SVO Hqrs Jammu this afternoon. All officers present at the headquarters attended the meeting. The Vigilance Commissioner paid rich tributes to Late Shri Faruqui describing him as an officer of extra ordinary competence and quality of leadership. A two minute silence was observed in memory of the departed soul. The participants also expressed heart-felt sympathies with the bereaved family. Shri Faruqui had headed the State Vigilance Organisation from October 1979 to March 1982. |
