| Frogh-e-Urdu congratulates Prof Haidri for Ghalib award | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 3 Anjuman Frogh-e-Urdu has congratulated renowned scholar critic and writer prof. Akbar Haidri of the state nominated for Fakhar-ud-Din-Aliv Ahmed Ghalib award by Ghalib academy for year 2007. The award is for Dr. Haidri’s Criticism and research on Persian language. As per press release Anjuman once again criticized the cultural academy for the Urdu language in its two musical programmes at Abhinav Theatre on 19th and 26 November, in connection with its Golden Jubilee celebrations. Similar step motherly treatment was observed in the programme organized by Radio Kashmir Jammu on completing 60 years of its existence Majid Anwar Ghazi read out his short story “Sheesha Ka Makan” which was appreciated by the members of the Anjuman. Khurshid Kazmi, Betab J Puri, Aass Bhaderwahi, Nargis Sitara, Sanobar Khan, Rhat Hussain, Rehmat Banihali, Nissar Dhlvi, Malik Abndul Latief, Amin Sabunia and Amin Banihali recited their compositions in the poetic session organized by Anjuman. |
