| JKACCL organizes Gojjri Musharia | | | Early Times Reporter

Cultural Academy Sub-Office organized Gojri Mushaira and Cultural programme at Gujjar and Bakarwal (Boys) Hostel here today. Atta-ur-Rehman Natnoo A.C.was the chief guest while Ch. Hashim Din Sofi presided over the programme. The poets who took part in the Musharia included Hakeem Jan Mohd, Ireal Asri, T.H. Zahid and M.S.Shajid etc.
On the occasion a two minutes silence in memory of Mohd. Abdullah ‘Nadeem’, father of Shamima Dev who passed away at Srinagar on Sunday, F.A. Faridi cultural officer expressed profound sorrow on the sad demise of Nadeem. He conveyed condolences on behalf of the poets, writers and artists of Doda Sub-region to the bereaved family.
Ch. Mohd. Yousuf and Party and Mohd. Aslam and Party presented Gojjri Bait and folk songs. Both the programme were conducted by Hakeem Jan Mohd.
The chief guest Natno thanked the cultural Academy for living upto the expectations of all ethnic and linguistic groups districts of Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar. |
