| NC MLA inspects pesticides industries in Samba | | | Early Times Reporter

Chairman Industrial committee and MLA national conference Ali Mohd. Sagar tours samba industrial area where he inspected the pesticides industries set up by local and outside entrepreneurs today.
During his tour, he was apprised by the people that waste of pesticides is thrown into inner Basantar, thus has created several serious diseases to their animals, and added, problem and in looking assembly session he would raise the question about it and would demand for banning these industries.
During tour was accompanied by Ex-forest Minister, Ghulam Mohinder Sofi, MLA, Habbakadal Raman Mattoo, MLC Kanta Devi, Chairman Pollution Control Board Dr. M. Seth, Secretary Agriculture Tanveer Jan, Commissioner Cum Secretary industries Lokesh Jha and director industries Pardeep Gupta.
The vegetable they sow goes waste due to the pesticide waste. Not only this they informed him that due to smoke of these factories which engulfes whole area and thereby several diseases have taken peace among inmates.
They recalled him that several times we have apprised concerned authorities about it, they neither paid heed nor rendered any assistance in this regard.
ON assuring them, he said this is very grave. |
