To commemorate the birth anniversary of Late. V.R. Khajuria, an eminent sculptor artist of the state, Viraj Kala Kendra (VKK) organized a painting competition for the general line teachers here today.
The function was presided over by Dr. Renu Gupta speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gupta, highlights the achievements of the Kendra, and said that the theme of today’s painting competition was environment concern and AIDS.
Earlier in his welcome address the secretary VKK, Sushma Sharma informed that the Kendra has organized third event during the week long programme which would concluded on Dec. 7th . Exhibition of sculptors of Amrik Singh, Ravinder Jamwal, Darshan Singh and Vikas Khajuria was also organized. In today competition Neetu Sharma, Shiksha Niketan, Yogesh Katyal, K.V No. 1, Veena Verma, Environment edu. Institute were adjudged Ist, 2nd and 3rd winners respectively. While Roamil Sood, DBN got consolation prizes. |
