| Vested interests trying to malign image of Mann :SAD (A) | | | Early Times Reporter

The senior leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)(A) on Tuesday said that some vested interests are trying to malign the image of Sianjeet Singh Mann, President of the SAD (A).
The Sikh leaders said by doing so they are damaging the cause and aspiration of the sikh communiy. The sikh leaders also expressed their gratitude to the Govt.of Pakistan for recognising Anand Marriage act for sikhs and wanted for the same acceptance and recognition by the Indian state.
The national vice president SAD (A) J.S Mangal addressing a press conference here today said that the entire sikh community has expressed its serious concern over the nefarious and negative moves of certain short sighted elements who are damaging the cause and aspiration of the sikh community and playing anti sikh elements.
The SAD (A)J&K hails the reinstallation of the portrait of Sant Jarnail Singh at Aitsar and feels that the SGPC and sikh clergy has rectified its past mistake of removing the portrait.
The SAD (A) repeated its demand for handling over the murder case of Jathedar Harnam singh to C.B.I for proper investigations and demanded a requisite action by Chief Minister in this regard.They also demanded C.B.I probe into the mysterious death of a sikh lady at Chenab river Akhnor.
SAD (A) also condemned rioting the house of Jasbir singh a witness against Jagdish who is responsible for the sikh massacre in 1984 anti-sikh riots.
Amongst others the press conference was attended by Gurdev singh (National general secretary),Ram singh (National executive member),Ranjit singh (State vice president) and other senior SAD(A) leaders. |
