One day seminar titled Guru Nanak Dev Ji di Sarvpakhi Vichardhara. held at Jammu University. The seminar was organized by the Department of Punjabi , Jammu University.
The programme was dedicated to Jagat Guru nanak Dev Ji’s is 538th Birth anniversary.
Head of the Department Updesh Kour gave the keynote address on this occasion.. She highlighted the importance and relevance of the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and other spiritual personalities in the present scenario.
Students on the occasion presented the paers on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s philosophy and the social status of the woman in the society.
Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. BPS Sehgal was the chief guest on the occasion while Director Colleges Development council, Meenakshi Kilam presided over the function.
Sr. Lecturer of the department, Dr. Baljeet Kour presented the vote of thanks. |
