One head constable sustained serious injuries in a crude blast that took place near District Special Branch (DSB) office at Poonch late this evening.
According to reports today a blast took place near the office at about 7:15 pm in which one head constable namely Mohd Sadiq sustained serious injuries. The blast created panic in the area and a police team rushed to spot who took the injured to hospital for treatment.
Sources said a joint team of police and army also cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Sources said some miscreants threw the grenade to target the District Special Branch office. |
