| MAM College teams in basketball final | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | Dec 4: The Government MAM College has proved that the college has exceptional sports talent after both MAM (morning) and MAM (Evening) teams made it into the final of inter-college basketball competitions underway at Gymnasium Hall of the University of Jammu, her today.
Now, it will be an all MAM College affair in the final to be played tomorrow at 3 pm. Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof Amitabh Mattoo has consented to be the chief guest in the final.
Earlier, in the interesting semi-finals, MAM (Evening) trounced Acharya Shrichandra College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) 30-27. Supran Sharma and Wani Hamza played excellent game for ASCOMS but could not lead their side to victory in the presence of Irshad and Irfan, turned the game in favour of MAM College.
In the second semi-final, MAM morning College outplayed Law School 40-33. Mohit Jamwal, Devinder Singh and Falcus scripted MAM victory while Ashray Choudhary played well for Law School. |
