| DDC urban hails Sayeed’s decision | | | Early Times Reporter

A meeting of office bearers of DCC (Urban) was held under the president-ship of Om Chopra, the bold decision of president PCC Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed in the expulsion of rebel candidate in Poonch bye-election was highly appreciated. This decision of the high command shall infuse an element of discipline in the rank and file of Congress party.
A large nu7mber of office bearers present in the meeting pointed out inadequacies in the voter’s lists and discrepancies with regard to parentage of voters, house-hold numbers, wrong names etc. have not yet been rectified. It was called upon the election authorities to review and correct the voter’s lists as per the polling booth to restore the veradity of voters keeping in view the ensuing elections.
Among others, who spoke were B.B. Gupta, D.S. Lamghay, Kirtan Singh, Mansa Ram, Jagan Nath, Hussain Bhakashi, Nazir Mohd.V.K. Sethi, Keshav Ram, J.L. Koul and Rajani. |
