| Hakeem for early implementation of WGs recommendations | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 6 President People Democratic Front (PDF) and Minister for Transport Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has underlined the need for implementation of the recommendations of working groups (WG) to address the problems faced by the people of the Jammu and Kashmir state. Addressing a gathering in Budgam district on Thursday after laying the foundation of Rs. 1.20 crore hospital building, Hakeem Yaseen urged the leaders of India and Pakistan for taking forward the peace process to resolve all issues. Saying that dialogue is the only method to address the problems and strive for peace in the sub-continent, he said the leaders of political parties of the state including both Hurriyat groups should be involved in the dialogue adding that Kashmir issue can not be settled by an individual. Hakeem Yaseen called upon the Central government to release those detenues who were not involved in serious cases, this would be a good will gesture on the eve of Idd-ul-Azhah. He said that problem of unemployment has assumed alarming situation in the state and urged the Centre Government for granting employment package for the un-employed educated youth of the state. Mr. Yaseen said that despite various challenges the coalition government led by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has been successful in achieving the over all development of all the regions of the state during last two years. He said during this period, dozens of projects costing crores of rupees have been completed while as by virtue of double shift and triple shift of working several other projects are in progress across the state.
Responding to demands put-forth by the locals, Hakeem Yaseen assured that the distribution system of power and water supply in the area would be streamlined to cater the needs of the uncovered areas. He said government is determined to provide better facilities of road communication, medicare, education and drinking water facilities to the people and efforts have already been put into over come the problems of the people. |
