| Six bovine smugglers arrested at Bari Brahmna | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 6 Bari Brahamana police today arrested six bovine smugglers and recovered 20 bovines from two trucks from their possession when they were on way to deliver the consignment. On a specific information that some bovine smugglers were on way to deliver the consignment, DSP Yughal Sharma along a team swung into action and laid a naka in the area. Reports said during checking police stopped two trucks bearing number JK03/5564 and JKO5A/5149 and found 20 bovines and arrested six persons from the spot. The arrested persons has been identified as Shabbir Ahmed resident of Anantnag, Mohd Latif resident of RS Pura, Jamal Din resident of Udhampur, Mohd Rafiq resident of Kupwara, Shabbir Ahmed resident of Udhampur and Nazir Ahmed resident of Kupwara and took them to police station for further interrogation. Reports said during interrogation they told police that they were on way to deliver the consignment. Police has also registered a case in this regard. |
