| Sadhotra chairs PAC meeting of Revenue Deptt | | |
SRINAGAR, AUGUST 22 , – Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting of Revenue Department was held here today under the chairmanship of MLA, Mr. Ajay Kumar Sadhotra in the Assembly Lobby here today.
The meeting discussed several matters like revenue and capital component, recruitment by SSRB of various posts of revenue department, non-utilization of Rs. 10 crore for construction of one room tenements for migrants, Strengthening of Revenue Administration and Updating of Land Records (SRAULR) eviction of encroachments on state land, recovery of other departmental and bank loans as arrears of land revenue and un-disbursed levy payable to ex-land owners.
The chairman, Mr. Sadhotra sought clarification with regard to various matters from revenue authorities present in the meeting.
Mr. Sashortra was assured that all the points raised in the meeting shall be considered within stipulated time.
Legislators who attended the meeting include Mr. Sham Lal, Ms. Sakina Ittoo, Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil and others.
The meeting was attended by Financial Commissioner Revenue, Mr. G. D. Wadhwa, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Pramod Jain, Revenue Secretary Mr. Masood Samoon, Deputy Secretary Assembly, Mr. Mohammad Ramzan and other concerned officers. |
