| Prasad appreciates CFQAC efforts | | | Early Times Reporter

During their visit to Jammu University, Director National Accredition and Assesment Council (NAAC), Prof. VS Parsad and BS Pondimuraj for Registrar, Assistant advisor NAAC along with the Vice chancellor Amitabh Mattoo, Prof GS Sambyal Registrar and Meenakshi Kilam Director CFQAC and Colleges Development Council and other functionaries of the University witnessed the display of quality related exhibits organized by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CFQAC).
On this occasion, he also interacted with faculty and officers involved in the quality assourance process of the University. Dr. Kilam in her welcome address gave an overview of growth and development of the institution over the last five years and apprised them about various initiatives and activities undertaken by the Centre For Quality Assurance.
Prof. Prasad appreciated the remarkable efforts of the CFQAC and congratulated the vice Chancellor and Director CFQAC, Jammu University for various healthy practices initiated in the University. He said that the CFQAC is a role model for the other higher educational institutions in the country.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof. Mattoo highlighted that the Jammu University with over 140 affiliated colleges and 7 offsite campuses and subcentres has emerged as a hub of higher education in the region. He also pointed out that NAAC accreditation has been made an essential rather than a desired condition for permanent affiliation of the colleges by the colleges’ development council of the University. |
