| Constructions on common land banned | | | Early Times Reporter
Udhampur | Dec 7
To avoid jams due to traffic congestion, the District Magistrate, Udhampur has imposed restrictions for entry of all kinds of Civil and Army heavy vehicles in main city (Dhabber Chowk) for a period of two months with immediate effect.
As per the order, heavy vehicles including trucks, buses, tippers, heavy load carriers and 3-ton Army vehicles would not enter the main city from 8 A.M. to 9 P.M. Heavy vehicles of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department carrying ration can however, enter the city.
The District Magistrate through another order has also imposed ban on all type of constructions on common lands, particularly on nallahs, ponds and pathways, which shall remain in force for a period of two months with immediate effect. |
