| Four militant hideouts busted, huge cache recovered | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 7 The Security Forces have busted four militant hideouts and recovered a huge cache of arms from Kupwara and Pulwama districts in Kashmir Valley, a police spokesman said today. Three hideouts were busted in a single operation in Khrew forest in Pulwama district today. He said five AK assault rifles, a carbine, two under barrel grenade launchers (UBGLs), 509 rounds of AK ammunition, a pistol magazine with 215 rounds of ammunition, ten grenades, five detonators and two wireless sets were recovered from the hideouts. In a separate incident, the spokesman said, police assisted by army troopers destroyed a hideout in Dardsun village, falling under the jurisdiction Trehgam police station in Kupwara district last night, the spokesman added. Two AK assault rifles, six magazines and 300 AK rounds, eight grenades and two wireless sets were recovered from there. |
