Six persons including the driver of Mohindra vehicle bearing No. JK02M/1186 of JPI company chanderkote suffered injuries when it turned turtle near Gajpat Nallah under the jurisdiction of PS Chandrekote. The injured have been identified as Jagdish s/o Tota Ram r/o Malmula Damote Ramban, Ajaz Ahmed s/o Ab.Hamid Khan r/o Banwala Charrala tehsil Thathri, Om Parkash s/o Chandu Lal r/o Hanga Bhaderwah, Sher Singh s/o Gian Singh r/o Chanderlote, Sakheer Ram s/o Poneet Ram r/o Dammi district Chatisgarh (MP) and driver of vehicle whose identified is yet to be ascertained. Out of the injured Jagdish s/o Tota Ram was shifted to GMC Jammu and remaining were admitted in JPI Hospital Chanderkote. Meanwhile, an unknown person fell down into canal while he was washing clothes at the bank of Ravi Canal at Lakhanpur and washed away. Police / locals are trying to fish out the body immediately. |
