| Recognistion to Boti language sought | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 8 A delegation of over 50 people under the banner of Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association called on BJP State President Sh. Ashok Khajuria at Party headquarters today. The delegation was headed by Tashi Targis who putforth the demands for the support from State BJP. Giving details about the demands, Tashi Targis said that Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association wants recognition of Boti language in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution opening of road to the Mansrover through Ladakh. Ashok Khajuria, on this occasion, assured full support from the BJP and asked the delegates to struggle till the goal is achieved. He said BJP is emotionally attached to these issues and will help the people of Ladakh in achieving these demands. The meeting was also attended by other BJP leaders including Sat Sharma (C.A), Balbir Ram and Baldev Sharma. |
