One hundred eighty three constables were today promoted to the rank of special grade constables and orders to this effect were issued by the Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Dr. Shesh Pal Vaid.
The reports said that the newly promoted Sgcs were awaiting their promotion for last some years.
It may be recalled that last year a number of constables were promoted to the next rank by the IGP Jammu. |
