| Awareness camp held at Kangan by Medicinal Plants Board | | |
SRINAGAR, AUGUST 22 – One day awareness camp was organized by State Medicinal Plants Board at Kangan.
The programme chaired by MLA Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmed was aimed at to educate the growers, cultivators about the importance of locally found Medicinal Plants and their cultivation.
The officers of state Medicinal Plants Board emphasized for cultivation of MAPs in kitchen gardens. People were educated about the home remedies with locally found Medicinal Plants and also threw light on economic importance and Market Potential of locally found Medicinal Plants. Series of such awareness camps under various schemes have also been held in block Langate (district Kupwara) and block R. S. Pora (district Jammu). |
