From J&K, Manik Gupta emerged as most successful bowler with four for 29 in 18 overs while Muddassar, Ram Dayal and Parvez Rasool shared a piece each.
“The recent sensational victory against Tripura built a lot of confidence among the boys and I’m sure they will not allow Goa to level the score,” manager of the team A H Kazmi told Sports & Allied News.
Kazmi maintained that the boys are aiming at an outright victory over formidable Goa tomorrow. “If J&K manage to make it an innings defeat and get the bonus points, the state will be better placed to qualify for the knock-out stage,” the team manager said.
