Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 9: Jammu district girls clinched the overall trophy in under-14 section securing maximum points in field and track events in the two-day state level inter-district athletics meet which was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at University grounds, here today. Manpreet Kour of Poonch bagged the 100 mts gold. She was followed by Sindhu Khajuria of Kathua while Umya Fayaz of Baramulla finished third. The winners of different events were given away by the Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Syed Ahmed Wani. Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports, Ashok Kumar and District Officer, Jai Raj also presented medals and certificates. Prominent among those present in today’s finals prize distribution function were Pushpa Sharma, Sunita Goel, Inderjeet Kour, Dr Swarn Singh, R C Vaid and Raj Kumar.
