| Hindi classes for Teachers of Darhal | | | Early Times Reporter

48 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 13 Sector Rashtriya Rifles (ROMEO FORCE) has conducted special coaching in Hindi in the form of a ‘Hindi Learning Course’ for three weeks from 20 November to 08 December 2007 exclusively for the teachers of Darhal Valley.
The course was designed to achieve two primary; aims, firstly to impart basic knowledge of reading and writing Hindi and secondly, to build up a trained nucleus capable of imparting training in elementary Hindi to the students in their respective schools. A total of 24 teachers including five lady teachers, ie two teachers from each of the 12 major schools of Darhal attended the course. All the trainees displayed keen interest and enthusiasm in learning the language.
On the concluding day of the course today, Mr Fiyaz Ahmed of Sun Shine School was declared the best student while the 2nd and 3rd position were bagged by Mr Ajaz Ahmed of Model Public School and Miss Sahin Akhtar of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Darhal respectively. The prizes were given by Commanding Officer 48 Rashtriya Rifles to the awardees while certificates were given to each of the teachers who had attended and qualified. |
