| JWAM urges upon governor to disallow cabinet expansion | | Demand division of Jammu west constituency in two segments | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Dec 9: Stressing for division of Jammu west Assembly constituency in two segments, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM), an amalgamation of various organizations, today appealed the governor of state for disallowing cabinet expansion as this could prove dearly to state exchequer. Addressing the members, President of JWAM, Sunil Dimple said that when that when the Assembly election so near there is no need to expand the cabinet. "The state government is already reeling under financial crunch and the expansion at this point of time would only be the extra burden on state exchequer," he said. Criticizing coalition partners for playing with the emotions of Jammu people, Sunil Dimple said that the infighting between two partners from past quite some time has gravely effected the overall development of the region and particularly in JWAC wherein the inhabitants of the constituency are facing number of problems. Demanding the division of JWAC into two segments under delimitation commission, Dimple said that this constituency has three lac voters, ten lac populations with 26 corporators and is the largest constituency of the state. , the president JWAM said that on the issue of cabinet expansion I am going to take this matter with election commissioner of India and the state governor and asked them not allow the expansion. |
