Stage is set for Assembly bye-election to the 87-Haveli constituency in Poonch district. The polling is scheduled for December 12 while as counting will take place on December 15, 2007.
As many as 96,461 voters are eligible to exercise their right of voting. Of them 49,551 are male whileas female voters are 46,910.
As many as 135 polling stations have been set up in the constituency where polling will take place. Of these, 42 stations have been declared sensitive and 28 hypersensitive.
All adequate arrangements have been finalized to ensure free and fair elections in the constituency. |
