| AFTER HM, TM APPEALS PANDITS TO RETURN TO THEIR HOMELAND | | | SRINAGAR, Aug, 22: Soon after a "home-coming" call to Kashmiri Hindus by frontline armed organization Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, another armed outfit Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen has seconded the Hizb call. Terming the Hizb appeal as timely and apt, the chief spokesperson of Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen identifying himself as Sheikh Burhan-ud-Din told local news agencies that Pandits are a part and parcel of Kashmiri society and that they should return to Kashmir – their homeland. "We welcome the home-coming appeal to Kashmiri Pandits by Hizb and consider it right and timely," the spokesperson said. Guaranteeing safety and security of their lives and properties, the spokesperson suggested Pandit community to come home and partake in the "ongoing freedom struggle". Spokesperson also hit hard at the Ghulam Nabi Azad led-coalition government for what he termed "state sponsored terrorism". "Since Ghulam Nabi Azad took over as the Chief Minister of the Jammu and Kashmir, there has been continuous escalation in human rights excesses," Sheikh Burhan told the news agencies.
