| J&K earns bonus point against Goa | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | Dec 10: Jammu and Kashmir a bonus point brining the tally to 16 after registering an outright win over Goa in the Cooch Behar under-19 cricket tie played today at Patiala in Punjab.
It was because of excellent bowling by spinner Manik Gupta, who completed a match haul of seven for 33 to guide J&K to an innings and 43 runs victory. With today’s victory, J&K has secured 16 points from four wins and a loss in the five-match league round in under-19 group.
Earlier, resuming from overnight score of 94 for seven, Goa lost the remaining three wickets for just 19 runs, courtesy Manik Gupta.
Now, in the last match in the league round, J&K will take on Uttar Pradesh at GGM Science College Hostel ground on December 14. |
